Remote Attended Transactions

Unattended Lanes. Attended the Moment It Matters.

Keep the efficiency of unattended scale ticketing, without leaving drivers on their own. When a driver needs assistance, authorized staff can remotely access the site to start, complete, or print tickets directly to the K-4 kiosk.

WHAT ARE REMOTE ATTENDED TRANSACTIONS?

Unattended Automation With a Human Support

Remote attended transactions combine unattended K-4 scale operation with on-demand assistance through Interact Cloud. Routine transactions can continue through the unattended workflow, but when a driver needs help, an authorized employee can step in remotely and complete the transaction using the live weight from that site’s scale.

The result is a practical middle ground between fully staffing every scale house and leaving every exception for the driver to resolve alone.

ON-DEMAND REMOTE ASSISTANCE

Step In When a Driver Needs Help

The K-4 handles normal unattended transactions without requiring an employee at the scale. If a driver encounters an exception, office staff can access Interact Cloud and take over the transaction remotely.

The operator works with the remote site’s live scale weight, completes the necessary transaction information, and sends the finished ticket to the printer at that kiosk.

CENTRALIZED SYSTEM HEALTH

Monitor Every Site From One Screen

Remote assistance is only half of the workflow. System Health gives staff centralized visibility into connected scale locations so they can monitor operations while unattended lanes continue running.

From one interface, staff can review live scale information and the status of connected equipment, including kiosk synchronization, printers, and cameras. Instead of waiting for a driver to report a problem, your team has a centralized view of the systems supporting remote scale operations.

REMOTE TRANSACTION CONTROL

Complete the Transaction From Anywhere

When assistance is required, authorized staff do not need to be physically located at the scale. Through Interact Cloud, they can access the transaction, work with the live scale weight from the remote location, and complete the ticket for the driver.

Once completed, the ticket can print at the remote K-4 kiosk where the truck is located. This allows a central office or remote employee to provide attended support without permanently staffing that scale house.

CENTRALIZED STAFFING

One Experienced Operator Can Support Multiple Sites

Remote attended transactions change the staffing model for unattended operations. Instead of keeping an employee at every scale house in case something goes wrong, experienced staff can provide support across multiple locations.

A centralized operator can assist drivers as needed, cover employee breaks, support extended operating hours, and help keep remote pits or yards operating during periods when dedicated on-site staffing may not be practical.

For operations managing several locations, remote coverage helps put experienced employees where their knowledge is most valuable rather than requiring someone to sit at every scale waiting for an exception.

UNATTENDED OPERATIONS

Keep Automation Without Losing Human Support

The goal of unattended ticketing is not to remove people from every situation. It is to automate the routine transactions that do not require them.

With the K-4 handling standard transactions and remote employees available for exceptions, operations can maintain unattended workflows while preserving access to experienced staff when a driver actually needs assistance.

That means fewer reasons to staff a scale house “just in case,” while still giving drivers a path to human help when an exception prevents them from completing a normal transaction.

Industries

Remote Scale Support for Multi-Site Operations

Remote attended transactions are designed for operations where trucks need to keep moving even when dedicated scale house staff are not available at every location. Combine unattended K-4 ticketing, remote transaction assistance, and centralized System Health visibility to support scale operations across pits, plants, yards, and other remote facilities.

Sand and Gravel Industries

Support Remote Pits Without Staffing Every Scale House

Keep unattended scale lanes operating across pits and yards while giving centralized staff the ability to assist drivers when an exception occurs.
Quarry

Keep High-Volume Quarry Lanes Moving

Use unattended K-4 kiosks for routine transactions while experienced employees provide remote backup across quarry locations when drivers need assistance.
Mining

Extend Support Across Remote Scale Locations

Provide centralized transaction assistance and system visibility across remote mining sites without requiring a dedicated operator at every scale.
Scrap Metal

Centralize Support Across Busy Recycling Sites

Combine unattended scale processing with remote assistance so staff can support transaction exceptions across multiple yards from a centralized location.
Asphalt

Support Extended Plant and Dispatch Hours

Use remote attended transactions to provide driver assistance beyond normal scale house staffing periods while maintaining centralized visibility across connected locations.
Concrete Industries Icon

Keep Material Transactions Moving Across Locations

Give centralized staff the ability to assist remote drivers and monitor connected scale equipment across construction material facilities.
