CHALLENGE:

As business at Hammersley Stone increased, they had a need to automate the processing of scale transactions. Paying a scale operator to process transactions in the “Attended Mode” of Interact was no longer cost effective. In addition, there were other duties the scale operator could be performing that would require hiring another employee if this automation did not occur.

SOLUTION:

Install an AutoTouch touch-screen unattended data collection system and have the drivers process the transactions on their own. Hammersley Stone uses Interact to edit tickets and run reports. All data is transferred to the main office and then exported to Microsoft Dymanics SL® for billing purposes. This has saved hours of time and eliminated errors when entering ticket data for billing purposes.
