Current Positions

Systems Integration Specialist

Position Summary:

The Systems Integration Specialist is responsible for coordinating and installing AWS software, hardware, networks and/or applicatiofns for our customers. This may involve working with end-user information technology departments to plan strategies of execution without interfering with the customer’s day-to-day activities. Coordinate installation and provide technical expertise to ensure the process is completed as smoothly as possible. After the installation is complete, a systems integration specialist supports the customer by resolving technical issues and training users on how to use AWS software applications.

Provide technical support to customers over the phone as well as in-person. Provide high quality customer service to internal and external customers. Responsible for tracking and documenting issues and their solutions, and troubleshooting and researching problems for customers.  Reviews and tests programs written by AWS Software Developers to ensure that programs meet objectives. Employee should be familiar with spreadsheets, databases, Management Information Systems (MIS) and a variety of software systems, hardware, networking and software applications.

Hours:

Full-time position, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, 1 hour lunch

Requirements:

Personal computer skills; Strong troubleshooting skills; Excellent communication skills both written and oral; Pays attention to details; Excellent phone skills and pleasant telephone voice; Reliable self-starter with ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in team and individual settings; Initiative, hardworking, and self-managing; Team player; Some travel may be required; Experience installing and supporting software applications a plus; Server and networking experience a plus.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to new and existing customers both over the phone as well as in-person
  • Resolve customer hardware and software problems
  • Use inhouse resources to resolve customer problems. Only use Engineering resource as a last resort.
  • Test and troubleshoot hardware and software at AWS office and at customer site
  • Provide software and hardware training to AWS end-users and employees
  • Setup and configure customer database for all AWS software
  • Use and update training materials
  • Some travel with overnight stays (will vary based on installation schedule)
  • Document installations and provide good record keeping following company procedures
  • Answer incoming calls and direct to appropriate employee
  • Maintain ACT! and Helix internal customer databases with customer information and Incidents
  • Document all customer calls in Helix
  • Update 3-ring Customer binders
  • Attend weekly/monthly meetings
  • Responsible for providing customers with resolutions based on established processes and procedures and/or company policies
  • Read emails, Helix Incidents, Microsoft Teams messages frequently
  • Manage time on multiple projects
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
